Constructed from lightweight balsa and plywood, the airframe supports either a 55-60cc petrol engine or a 12S electric setup, offering flexibility in both budget and performance. Scale features include a fully detailed cockpit, fibreglass cowling, drop tank, bombs, pilot figure and, of course, an authentic 333rd Fighter Squadron colour scheme. The Republic P-47D Thunderbolt was one of the most rugged and heavily armed fighter-bombers of WWII. Nicknamed the 'Jug', it earned respect for its firepower, resilience and ability to dive at speed. The Dan'l Boone scheme commemorates a real aircraft flown by Captain Daniel Boone of the 333rd Fighter Squadron. It's a fitting tribute to the bravery and skill of those who flew these formidable machines into combat.
