Details

There's absolutely no denying the charm of this delightful rendition of the famous de Havilland DH.60 Moth, arguably in the prettiest colour scheme ever seen on the type. Seagull's diligently built ARTF is based on privately owned G-AANL which was originally delivered to the Danish Army Air Corps in 1929 and, in 1942, flown by Lt Peer Perch during an escape from Jylland to England. Rebuilt by Aero Antiques in the livery of National Flying Services Ltd. and registered G-AANL it remains, to this day, a beautifully preserved flying example of the breed.

Spanning 72 this 1/4-scale balsa and ply four-channel model features a convenient cockpit hatch for easy access to fuel tank, radio, flight batteries et al, and, crucially, detachable pre-rigged wing panels which, for storage and transport, are supported by temporary root section frames. Scale wheels, undercarriage, struts, flying and landing wires and beautifully applied Oracover film complete a picture which will turn heads wherever it's displayed. Get it in the air and your flying pals will be green with envy.
