1:16 Scale German Tiger I RC Tank
Step onto the RC battlefield with commanding presence in the 1:16 scale German Tiger I, one of the most iconic tanks of the Second World War. This highly detailed model features the latest TK7.0 multi-function control board (MFCB), offering proportional acceleration, steering, turret traverse and cannon elevation or depression for a refined and responsive driving experience.
The Tiger I is fully customisable with programmable radio settings that allow you to adjust recoil intensity, turning sensitivity, acceleration response and driving speed modes. Whether engaging in tactical manoeuvres or casual driving, omnidirectional proportional control delivers smooth handling over a wide range of terrain.
Durability is assured with rugged tracks that can be upgraded to metal for enhanced strength, paired with independent suspension on all road wheels and a reliable gearbox that provides consistent traction and power transfer.
This model features programmable track recoil with three levels of intensity to simulate cannon fire, while a smoke generator emits glycerin-based exhaust for added realism. Four unique sound profiles provide immersive audio effects including engine start-up, idle, acceleration, turret traverse, elevation, machine gun fire, cannon blasts and shutdown. Sound volume can be adjusted across five settings.
For interactive play, the tank fires 6mm plastic BBs up to 10 metres. Though limited in speed and accuracy, this feature must be used responsibly with proper eye protection. The Tiger I is also IR battle-ready, using Heng Long's infrared combat system to engage with up to 20 tanks at once. Tanks are disabled after five hits and automatically restart after ten seconds. Sound and flashing LED lights indicate hits, standby and active status.
Featuring 320 degrees of turret rotation, 30 degrees of cannon elevation and true RTR (Ready to Run) functionality, this model comes factory painted with additional cosmetic accessories for enhanced scale realism. Whether displayed or deployed in combat, the Tiger I offers an exceptional combination of historical authenticity and modern RC technology.
A Brief History of the Tiger I
The Tiger I, officially designated Panzerkampfwagen VI Tiger Ausf. E, was Germany's most feared heavy tank of the Second World War. Introduced in 1942, it was armed with the powerful 88mm KwK 36 L/56 gun and protected by thick armour, making it virtually impervious to most Allied weaponry at the time of its debut. Though complex and costly to produce, the Tiger I became legendary for its battlefield dominance in North Africa, the Eastern Front and Western Europe. Revered for its firepower and formidable presence, the Tiger I remains one of history's most iconic tanks. This RC model faithfully captures its legacy for hobbyists and collectors alike.
