After nearly two years of development, numerous tests and continuous improvements, the highly anticipated F7F has been faithfully reproduced. The FMS 1700mm Tiger Cat is here.
The Tiger Cat combines the best structural innovations from FMS's classic aircraft. It features a popular quick-assembly and disassembly system, where all components can be fitted using screws alone. With the latest multi-connect technology, FMS has simplified the wing system, eliminating complex wiring and making installation and removal significantly faster and easier. A well-designed battery compartment maximises the use of internal space, accommodating higher-capacity batteries and providing greater flight flexibility.
As with all of FMS's warbirds, the Tiger Cat impresses with both scale accuracy and superb flight performance.
This model is equipped with the latest locked-rotor mode electronic retract system featuring overcurrent protection. It also boasts a meticulously scaled CNC-machined metal landing gear set — the most accurate ever produced by FMS — offering durability during less-than-perfect landings. A 62 mm diameter front wheel and 84 mm diameter main wheels allow smooth operation on both paved and grass surfaces.
The power system includes twin 4258-KV460 outrunner motors and twin 60A ESCs with a 10A UBEC, providing powerful performance for realistic scale manoeuvres when paired with a 6S 5000mAh 45C battery.
The Tiger Cat's scale appearance is outstanding. It includes finely detailed plastic components such as landing gear doors, cowls, simulated engines and machine guns. Further scale realism is achieved through all-round panel lines, rivet detailing, a pilot figure, bright LED lighting and CNC-machined shock-absorbing landing gear. Additionally, the package includes four sets of decals (blue colour scheme only), allowing you to customise your own Tiger Cat and stand out at the flying field.
